Real Story of Sellers at Mudah.my platform

Several sellers have advertised their ads at Mudah.my and want to sell their items such as phone.

The scammer called himself as Dato' Chong Ming Keat.

The scammer said he was currently traveling abroad (on a business trip in Glasgow). He further elaborated that he agreed to the price of the goods and he wanted to buy as a gifts for his partner in Johor.

Scammer usually ask the sellers to provide their bank account and email address (so that scammer can send the phishing email).

When the seller gives their email address and bank account, the scammer will send an email (usually use gmail or hotmail account) as a bank confirmation email.

Scammers usually use local phone number to WhatsApp the sellers so that people will not doubt them.
